  • We are closed each day for lunch from 12-1 pm.
  • Evening hours available by arrangement only.
  • Walk-ins discouraged.
  • During the winter season and inclement weather, we follow the closing schedule of UConn Storrs Campus.  Please check your local news provider to verify the status of the UConn Storrs campus during inclement weather.

The clinic is closed on the following holidays:

  • Memorial Day
  • Juneteenth
  • 4th of July
  • Labor Day
  • Thanksgiving Day and the Friday immediately following Thanksgiving

From the Northeast (Boston)

  • Take Interstate 84 West to Exit 68.
  • From the exit, turn left onto Route 195, 7 miles to UConn.
  • Continue driving down Route 195 (Storrs Road) until you reach the four-way intersection with CVS and turn right onto BOLTON ROAD (located between the School of Fine Arts and E.O. Smith High School).
  • Follow Bolton Road and take your second right onto Alethia Drive.
  • Take a left into the roundabout parking area.
  • Park in any designated spot noted as “Client Parking”
  • Additional parking is located by continuing to follow Bolton Road to the next available right into a small parking lot. Please park in designated “Client Parking” spots.

From the South and West (New York)

  • Take Interstate 84 East to Exit 68.
  • From the exit, turn right onto Route 195, 7 miles to UConn.

  • Take Interstate 95 to 395 North.
  • Take Exit 13B West to Route 32 North.
  • Follow Route 32 North to Willimantic.
  • In town, turn right and go over the Frog Bridge.
  • Continue straight through the traffic light and follow 195 North (Storrs Road) for 8 miles to campus.
  • Continue driving on Route 195 (Storrs Road) until you reach the intersection of E.O. Smith High School and CVS. Turn left onto BOLTON ROAD (located between the School of Fine Arts and E.O. Smith High School.)
  • Follow Bolton Road and take your second right onto Alethia Drive.
  • Take a left into the roundabout parking area.
  • Park in any designated spot noted as “Client Parking”
  • Additional parking is located by continuing to follow Bolton Road to the next available right into a small parking lot. Please park in designated “Client Parking” spots.

Parking Information

A Guest Parking Permit will be provided to you as a courtesy to make your visit to the campus more convenient.

  • Please check the date(s) printed on it for accuracy and enter the license number of the car you will be driving on campus.
  • This permit is valid only for the date(s) listed and is not transferable to another car.
  • The permit should be displayed on the dashboard of your car while parked on campus so that security officers can easily check it.
  • If you misplace your parking permit you will need to come into the Clinic and get a replacement pass.

Visitors to the Speech & Hearing Clinic may park in the large circular parking lot in front of the building (Phillips Communication Science Building) or in the small lot in the rear of our building. Signs in both areas indicate spaces are designated as client parking only. You may park in any space available within the circle, as well as the rear of the building that is not restricted. Please note: There are spaces reserved for persons with State permits for handicapped parking.

  • Visitors will receive a parking ticket if they fail to display a Guest Parking Permit or if they park in unauthorized spaces.
  • The Speech and Hearing Clinic cannot be responsible for adjustments to tickets that are issued for parking violations.
  • Please let our clinic secretary know if you have special parking needs.
  • Parking for visitors with disabilities is available on the side of the clinic with access through the Nathan Hale Inn hotel.

Violations are subject to fines indicated on the ticket and are handled by the Traffic Commission Office of the Town of Mansfield. Questions concerning violations should be directed to that Office. Unpaid violations are subject to Circuit Court Action.
